Concussion Treatment in Jackson NJ

Have you been feeling funny since you slammed your head on the counter? Or maybe you just never recovered fully after years of playing sports and having "your bell rung".

A concussion can occur from an obvious hit on the head, like from a sports injury in football, but it can also happen in a whiplash like injury such as a car accident or a fall. You don't need to have loss of consciousness to have a concussion and it's often diagnosed based on symptoms not an MRI or CT scan.

Most concussions resolve with minimal treatment if cared for properly from the onset. Research supports working with a health practitioner trained in concussion treatment early to avoid developing problems later on.  Dr Julie Gray will work to ensure that your brain recovers properly as opposed to simply compensating.

At Piton PT, we know that people who experienced a concussion are often left with a wide array of symptoms. This may cause difficulty with tolerating exercise, imbalance and dizziness especially on uneven surfaces, dizziness in crowded environments, and even headaches and visual complaints with using your phone or computer.
