What is Physical Therapy?

Physical therapists are movement experts who improve quality of life through prescribed exercise, hands-on care, and patient education.

Physical therapists diagnose and treat individuals of all ages, from newborns to people at the end of life. Many patients have injuries, disabilities, or other health conditions that need treatment. But PTs also care for people who simply want to become healthier and to prevent future problems.

After schooling, physical therapists will often specialize in certain areas of focus such as orthopedic conditions, neurological conditions, cardiac or pediatric conditions.

Physical therapists examine each person and then develops a treatment plan to improve their ability to move, reduce or manage pain, restore function, and prevent disability.

Why are you a hybrid service?

A common barrier to care is the inability to get to find qualified providers, wait around for weeks to schedule and appointment and drive to an office. All while trying to schedule appointments around kids scheduling and work hours! We know how overwhelming and frustrating it can be! We strive to provide care that expert at treating your condition, convenient around your schedule, and comes to you because we know how difficult it can be to take care of yourself while juggling all of your daily tasks!

We believe that to best help serve you, we work with you directly in your home to see the challenges you are facing in your daily environment rather than trying to stimulate them in a clinic. We are able to see those challenges you face daily, all through telemedicine.

We provide a hybrid approach to care, knowing that some testing is best performed in-person. This is why we advocate for the first session be performed in-person in Jackson, NJ. During this in-person session, we utilize state of the art technology to assist in our quality assessment to get to the root of your condition fast. Virtual assessments are still completely acceptable and evidence based, but we typically request the having a family member present to help assist in some of the balance assessments.

We are not a home care agency. If you are homebound, you qualify for home care services. If this sounds like you, we will be happy to discuss and refer you to an agency more suited to your direct needs and care.
